Brassington is peacefully situated 6 miles from the Market town of Ashbourne, 4 miles from Wirksworth, 10 miles from Matlock, 30 miles from Castleton with its caves and 22 miles from Derby, with its Westfield shopping centre, to name but a few. Steeped in the history from its time as a mining area, it is excellent for walking, cycling, fishing and bird-watching. The village pub is less than 100 yards away.
