The Accommodation comprises:- 

From the road, you enter by the front door into the compact but fully equipped kitchen.
Straight in front of you is a door into the tiny "hall".
From the "hall", on your left is the door into the bathroom which has a shower over the bath.
On your right is the double bedroom.
Straight ahead is the stairway leading to the first floor lounge/dining room. This spacious room is furnished with a sofa/bed which converts to an ample double bed, armchairs, dining table and chairs and other furnishings and facilities to make a really comfortable living space.
As a bedroom, the accommodation lends itself best to a single family unit or similar.

Outside is a small paved sitting area.
There is roadside parking. (Our neighbours are the best - so we always park within the frontage of the cottage.)

Services and resources:- 

Log-burning stove and storage heaters. We leave a supply of logs, and can "top you up" if you use them all.

Electricity, bed linen & towels included.

TV/DVD player with Freeview; radio/CD player; electric hob & oven; microwave; fridge; freezer; washing machine; dishwasher; tumble-drier; another TV/DVD player with Freeview in the bedroom.

Selection of book, games, DVD's, local OS map, tourist leaflets, book of walks.

There is a broadband internet connection. Please discuss your requirements in a phone-call or e-mail.

General:-

The construction of the cottage includes a stairway which may present difficulty for guests with limited mobility. However, essential services i.e. bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, TV are all available on the ground floor.
We welcome the opportunity to discuss individual requirements as we can enhance the facilities, e.g. with a telephone on the ground floor, provision of a wheel-chair, and we will do our utmost to accommodate any specific requests.

Pets welcome by arrangement (not to be left unattended).
Non smokers only.
Weekly bookings and short breaks by arrangement.

We believe our guests prefer to enjoy their holiday in their own way - but we are normally only half an hour and a phone-call away to offer assistance.

There is a bus service to Ashbourne, weekdays and Saturdays, two-hourly intervals, the nearest bus stop being 100 yards away.
